Jana Winderen

Jana made an opening concert for the Bergen Assembly at Bergen Architect school, BAS, and two more performances in Bergen and in Leirvik in relation to her project for Bergen Assembly: Meet the Locals: Underwater.
It consisted of 3 hydrophone input channels and 10 output channels, played out of her van outside, by the harbour.

Her works was based on her ten days trip around the Hardangerfjord, a return after 18 years, when she worked with the project Sleppet, curated by Jørgen Larson in 2007. Jana travelled in her van slowly around the fjord, listening, talking with people, listening to fish and hearing about the precent situation in the fjord from fishermen, aquaculture workers, scientists, glacier guides and tourists. Jana was invited by the Curator Ravi Argarwal, one of the conveners of the Bergen Assembly in 2025. Jana's workshop at Bergen Architect School were also part of this project. Find it here.
