'ferð', opening at Lillehammer Kunstmuseum, 17 February


'ferð', is a permanent site specific 10 channels sound installation for the bridge between the new and the old building at Lillehammer Kunstmuseum. Jana has composed 'ferð' on site it for this particular space. It is based on a her travels from the river Mesna into the largest lake in Norway; Mjøsa, and further out to the Worlds Oceans.
Jana has travelled and recorded under water sounds for more than 20 years, and the installation is composed of meetings with creatures, places and impressions along the way, all under water.
