JunKroom at Urban Guild, Kyoto, Japan, curated by Sean Roe. Jana will be participating with the sound piece North Atlantic Drift, 2009, 14.00 min.
The track is based on recordings she did in the Barents Sea on the Marine Institute research ship Johan Hjort, and of decapods, cod, herring, haddock and sea snails from the Norwegian coastline. Recorded with 2 x 8011 DPA hydrophones and 2 x 4060 DPA omnis on a Sound Devices 744T hard disc recorder.
