In relation to her project and installation The Ice Edge, Jana will participate on the ARCEx research cruise which will be looking into the physical and ecological processes in the marginal ice zone of Arctic seas.

The collection of material for The Ice Edge is supported by the Arts Council Norway, Norwegian Visual Artists Association and Art and New Technology, Arts Council Norway. The exhibition of the project in 2017 is made possible in collaboration with Sonic Act festival / Dark Ecology project.
