Jana Winderen

'Call from the Edge: Underwater' was a commissioned work for the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale. The composition is based on multichannel under water recordings Jana did at the local reefs in the Red Sea during her residency at CORDAP, Coral Research & Development Accelerator Platform at KAUST in November 2023.

She did two performances of this work specifically composed for After Rain.

At the Research Tables for the Biennale Jana had installed a drawing of creatures she had met during her residency for CORDAP, Coral Research and Development Accelerator Platform at KAUST for one month, November 2023.

'After Rain', The Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale was curated by Ute Meta Bauer.
